Verlon Eason is a multi-talented musician who has been performing on the harp since 1999 in the Orlando area, providing a variety of classical, popular, broadway, religious, and celtic music. Her music adds a soothing atmosphere of elegance and beauty to any venue where she plays. She specializes in weddings (Sweet Harps LLC) but also performs for receptions, engagement parties, bridal luncheons or showers, anniversaries, baby christenings, banquets, corporate events, store grand openings, casual and formal dinner parties, brunches, school programs and memorial services. Verlon also specializes playing for church services where she shares her very moving personal testimony of how she was led to play the harp. Verlon is happy to travel throughout the state to play for your engagement.
Verlon has recorded 3 harp CD’s since 2005:
“Rest for Your Soul”, “Gift for the Giver”, and “Silhouette of Strings" with plans on recording more in the near future. She writes all of her own arrangements and composes as well. Verlon is an active member of the Central Florida Harp Society, American Harp Society, Florida Harpers and Friends as well as the Orlando Music Club and Florida Federation of Music Clubs. She also conducts workshops on Beginner Harp Theory, How to Play from Lead Sheets, Effective Keys to Memorizing, and Harp Therapy for the Sick and Dying at harp conferences... <more>
Verlon performs professionally on her variety of harps for Weddings, Receptions, Memorials, Corporate functions, Private Parties, as well as ministering in churches where she shares her personal testimony of how she began playing the harp.
